Suphawatchara is an assistant professor in economic law at the Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI) King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). He is professional academic teaching for almost ten years in various legal topics from IP Law, consumer protection law, competition law and data protection law. He is also a senior privacy counsellor at LexTech Consultant. Suphawatchara has a strong background in comparative data protection law. In 2019-2020, He was a Fulbright H. Humphrey Fellow at American University Washington College of Law (2019-2020), where he gained extensive knowledge in the US privacy law, HIPAA, AI and robotics. Supawarchara has certified for PECB Certified Data Protection Officer and PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementor. Furthermore, he is IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and qualifying for Certified DPO from the European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity (Maastricht University) and EXIN Certified Data Protection Officer, as well as an accredited Trainer for EXIN DPO.  During 2020-2021, Suphawatchara was a visiting research at  Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law. During his research stay, he gained practical skills. He possed several data protection certifications, i.e. from the Academy of European Law, EIPACC DPO Certification (Certificate of GDPR) (The Netherlands), and European Data Protection Professionals Certification (The Netherlands). Therefore besides of a PECB Certified Trainer for information privacy and information security, Suphawatchara is a truly professional experience in this field.
