She is an ISO 17025:2017 Certified Lead implementer with the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB), a trained current Good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) inspector and a member of the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) technical committee 310, Cosmetics and related products. She holds a Masters Degree in Chemistry and Bachelors degree in Industrial Chemistry from Makerere University, Uganda. She also holds a post graduate Diploma in project planning and management. She has conducted several inspection assignments on the subjects of cGMP and Good Laboratory practices (GLP) in pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, in different countries, including; China, Sweden, Spain, Uganda, India, Kenya, Pakistan, South Africa and South Korea. Peace has executed, quality control, quality assurance and management responsibilities in both Government and private sector entities. Her career began in pharmaceutical industries; Uganda Pharmaceuticals Limited and Abacus Parenteral Drugs Limited, in Uganda, where she held quality control roles, both at execution and supervisory levels. Her work experience spans fifteen years. She is currently a principal Officer, at the National Drug Quality Control Laboratory, National Drug Authority, Uganda, a World Health Organization (WHO) prequalified Laboratory and ISO 17025:2017 (ANAB) Accredited Laboratory. In her role, she oversees pharmaceutical testing activities including, investigative analysis. She has also assessed pharmaceutical dossiers (Common Technical Documents) on behalf of National Drug Authority.
