An experienced Information Security professional with vast knowledge  in Digital forensics, Governance Risk and Compliance, Security research ,  and Business Process Improvement and Analysis.  As an information Security Consultant, Gilbert has worked and steered several multinationals: Coca-Cola, Volkswagen and Yazaki as an internal auditor, Consultant and teainer and on projects with regards to compliance with several international standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. He has been involved in the SIEM implementation and Deployment, Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics and ISO 27001 certification projects to several banks, Governments and SMEs across Africa. He has helped several organizations achieve lean processes through Business Process Analysis across East Africa and Course Author on Information Security Metrics and Integrated Management Systems based on PAS 99:2012 He was the Lead Implementer of Integrated Management Systems at the leading telecommunication company in East and Central Africa: Safaricom. He is the Author and Producer of Africa Cyber Threat Intelligence Report (ACTIR) 2018 that was endorsed by Smart Africa
